ABSTRACT
Central nervous system disease represents 1% of all tuberculosis cases. The case of an immunocompetent female with involvement
of the central nervous system by tuberculosis with no lung affection is reported. Tuberculosis can affect immunocompetent patients
extensively. Clinical suspicion, a specific protocol to confirm the diagnosis, and early treatment are essential to prevent neurological
sequelae or death.
