ABSTRACT
This study aimed to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Kiddo-Kindl to measure the quality of life of adolescents school Huejuquilla el Alto, Jalisco. Used a statistical sample of 185 secondary students Huejuquilla el Alto, Jalisco, which is considered by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) as a town with marginalization. We used a quantitative methodology. We used Cronbach's coefficient to measure internal consistency. Additionally, the internal validity of the construct was analyzed using a factorial model using the extraction method of principal components from rotation Varimax with Keiser normalization. As a main result shows that the Cronbach alpha coefficient has a value of 0.750 indicating a significant positive internal consistency. The adjustment factor structure presented in the theoretical structure proposed by the authors of the instrument. This shows that the instrument Kiddo-Kindl present similar psychometric properties to the original German and Spanish version, so it can be used to measure the quality of life in adolescents living in the municipalities of northern Jalisco, which is considered marginal.
