Onychocryptosis with cutaneous bridge. Surgical management

ABSTRACT

The onychocryptosis (onyx- nail, kripta- hidden) is the condition of the nail plate, in which the distal end of this abnormal interaction with the nail folds, embedded, causing pain, inflammation and even infection, which is presented in recursively. This condition is essential to surgical treatment. This article mentions a number of cases with severe onychocryptosis.
