ABSTRACT
Idiophatic granulomatous mastitis is an inflammatory process uncommon, benign of unknown origin. In most cases occurs in women in reproductive age between 17 and 42 years old. Diagnosis is based on the performance of ultrasound, fine needle biopsy of breast tissue and skin, with microbiological studies. Medical treatment is variable and sometimes unsatisfactory, with relapses and frequent recurrences. We report the case of a 39 years old woman with Idiopathic Granulomatous Mastitis.
