ABSTRACT
The term Anorexia comes from the Greek a-/an- (deny) and orígo (wish, desire) and consists in a disorder of the alimentary behavior and its clinical definition established as main characteristic the self-inducted loss of weight caused by a pathological worry of the shape and weight of the body that later it is demonstrated in the obsessive control of the ingest of aliments that leads to a state of starvation. In This article we present a case of anorexia nervosa assisted in Commander Manuel Fajardo Rivero Hospital from Santa Clara. The case was assisted by specialists on Psychiatry, Psychology and Medicine. For the assistance of the case were combined psychotherapeutic, natural and allopathic treatments.REFERENCES
