ABSTRACT
Throughout the history of man kind, we have been discovering different plants for medical use, all over the world. Today, we have the tendency to return to natural treatments. Herbal therapy is gaining acceptance not only in the general population but also in the medical community. There are some plants that when used in combination with allopathic drugs, specially anticoagulants, benzodiazepines, barbituates, their effect potentates or diminishes the reaction. We mentioned some medical plants, their common uses, as well as their secondary effects and interaction with other drugs.
