ABSTRACT
According to cancer’s incidence in Costa Rica, gastric cancer has the third place among men and women, hence an early detection of the disease is very important. The gastroduodenal series is a diagnostic method that offers great sensitivity and specificity, with this exam tumoral injuries can be observed through X rays. These injuries will be seen as ulcers or protuberances in the gastric walls or as a narrow gastric lumen.
