ABSTRACT
Introduction of 2-(
18F)-fluoro-2-deoxy -D-glucose positron emission tomography (FDGPET) in the arsenal of image diagnosis, in studying cancer patients, has increased diagnosis of incidentally diagnosed synchronic tumors. We present a patient diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s low grade B-cell MALT lymphoma in whom a moderately differentiated synchronous adenocarcinoma of the lung was diagnosed incidentally by means of FDGPET/CT.
