ABSTRACT
We present the case of a 3 year-old girl with a middle ear rhabdomyosarcoma that began as a polyp in meatus, preserving facial nerve. Polyps inside the ear often are diagnosed as non-malignant chronic middle ear otitis. However, the age of the patient and the pain referred as the main symptom at the onset induced an early differential diagnosis, in spite of the lack of cranial nerves damage.
