Cutaneous metastasis of lung cancer: two case reports and review of the literature

ABSTRACT

Cutaneous metastases are the most frequent dermatologic manifestation of lung cancer. They are indicative of neoplasm progression and bad prognosis.
We report two cases of cutaneous metastases from lung adenocarcinoma. We emphasize the different clinical presentation of these lesions, and the need to keep in mind this phenomenon, which we must rule out in a patient with a suspected lesion and a medical history of nicotine poisoning or lung cancer.
