Unilateral laterothoracic exanthema (ULTE), is a erythematous papular exanthema. The etiology remains unknownn. A nine months-old girl with four days of low grade fever associated with an unilateral pruritic exanthema is reported. ULTE diagnostic was made based on clinical caractheristics, exclusion of other causes and skin biopsy. The pacient was treated with antihistaminic and the evolution was favorable. The aim of this case was describe a clinical entity that is undiagnosed and is included on differential diagnoses of the most frequent eruptions in childhood.
