ABSTRACT
A 54 year-old male presented to our institution with a one week history of acute confussional syndrome followed by dysarthria, judgement and memory failure. The physical exam revealed papilledema of the left eye. MRI of the brain showed a left frontal lobe tumor together with great edema, which deviate midline structures. Surgical resection was performed and the pathology report was consistent with a metastatic malignant melanoma. The primary tumor was not found. The purpose of this paper is to emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and surgical treatment in this kind of patients.REFERENCES
