ABSTRACT

Presence of mycetoma in Mexico is becoming common in rural areas, which causes different conditions with very notorious skin injuries and major muscle injuries by the presence of deep scars by caverns produced; however, in the review of the literature so deep lesions are not reported, which reach the spinal canal and produce a spinal cord compression by effect of mass, which leads to spinal cord lesion (by compression and stroke) and quadriplegia, with fatal results and without the possibility of offering a treatment due to the evolution of the disease.
