ABSTRACT
We confirm with this revision of the information and our experience that the intra-articular application of steroids to treat osteoarthritis of the knee has very limited indications and should be very careful to select the patient by significant adverse effects that may have local and systemic. That Viscosupplementation is considered an alternative palliative more reliable but with medium term effects, 6 to 8 months.
