ABSTRACT
A review was made of the 10th National Course on Theoretical Bases and Update in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery (previously a propedeutic course). This course took place from January 10 to the 15, 2000 at the Mexican Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. Twenty-eight topics were presented by 28 national outstanding teachers; 107 students attended. The participants, teachers and course were included in the global evaluation. A written structured pre and post tests were given. The hypothesis trial test demonstrated a statistical difference. This implies the evaluation average was higher than the pre evaluation average (p ‹ 0.001). In short, learning was meaningful.REFERENCES
