ABSTRACT
The papillomas of choroid plexuses are non-frequent tumors of neuroectoderm origin
accounting for the less of the 5 % of total of tumors of the central nervous system
(CNS) in children. The clinic may be caused by the increase of the intracranial pressure
due to the usually present hydrocephalus. The surgery is curative with a survival
percentage of almost the 100 % at 5 years and occasional recurrences. This is the case
of a newborn diagnosed with papilloma of choroid plexuses and a favorable evolution.
