ABSTRACT
Colorectal cancer constitute a health issue at a worldwide and national level. In order to obtain an early detection of the disease, it is recommended for the population over 50 years old to take screening tests. This article will review the generalities on colorectal cancer, besides some of the tendencies and recommendations for the screening of the population.
