ABSTRACT
Severe motor inabilities affect the individual in an integral way in all its human needs. This situation motivated the elaboration of a process of infirmary attention where each one of the real, potential, perceived and manifested needs of the patient, that allows the nurse that confronts in its profesional practice to people with this problem, to lean on concepts and necessary instruments to develop its work with a high grade of professionalism. Likewise, he/she takes into account that the documentation that the nurse elaborates should become more and more exhaustive and flexible, in order to maintain the quality and continuity in the planned cares that are provided to thepatient. The objective is to elaborate a methodological manual that guides the nurse’s actions, and allows him incoordination with the health team to provide specific and effective cares, to evaluate the patient’s response to illness, and to apply its capacities to be creative as well as to develop abilities and critical thought.REFERENCES
