Microabrasion: alternative for the treatment of dental fluorosis in orthodontics

ABSTRACT
Dental fluorosis is considered an irreversible factor caused by excessive ingestion of fluoride during the dental molding. Fluorosis prevalence has increased importantly for the last years because the fluoride availability by different sources like the professional applications, oral health programs and food, beverage. Enamel micro abrasion combines important scientific bases with clinical work audited offering an interesting conservative, effective, safe and rapid results as an alternative. Application of this technique is presented in a clinical case.
