ABSTRACT
At present, the patient requires predictable and aesthetic treatments in a short time with the least possible postoperative morbidity; this forces us to techniques innovation or combining established ones with soft tissue allograft to achieve coverage root and increases gum large areas in a single surgical event. Recessions are the root of the surface exposure by apical migration of the gingival; these are caused by multiple factors such as periodontitis, occlusal trauma, orthodontic treatment, among others; this is a problem that greatly affects the aesthetics of the patient and also in most cases hypersensitive. For predictable root coverage, you need to know the status and the kind of recession. Currently there are multiple techniques to address the root recessions; in this case describes the surgical technique and biological bases using acellular dermal matrix for root coverage in large recessions.
