Task of nursing professional in the echinotherapy as an essential condition for integral care of the disabled

ABSTRACT
Disability is a problem involving a increased sector of population. It is necessary the
development of alternating care methods feasible to use in regions economically
less favored of planet including the echinotherapy which has being considered, by
different studies, as an effective technique for development of abilities in disabled persons. There are intensive debates promoting the hypothesis of if there is or not
enough scientific evidence on it value use. Arguments on its usefulness are
provided from the critical analysis result of information available on this subject in
the consulted bibliography. It is shown that in all the stags of Medical Sciences
development, its benefits have been recognized. Nursing professionals must to
know the features of this technique and to perform a significant task as part of an
interdisciplinary staff working in Echinotherapy centers.
