ABSTRACT
It examines the weaning process according to the consensus of the last years to achieve necessary concepts commonly used, adapted to the Cuban context of intensive care units. It shows how this process has elapsed in Cuba and different international and local protocols have been used in solving this problem of intensive care units and their particularities according to the patients admitted.REFERENCES
