ABSTRACT
The paraneoplasic dermatosis represent a heterogeneous group of clinical manifestations that appear as an expression of the action at a distance which can exercise a neoplasm. They constitute the second paraneoplasic syndrome in frequency, being surpassed only by the endocrine paraneoplásicas entities. There are several ways to classify them, which is discussed in this review article; paraneoplasic dermatosis cover a wide variety of manifestations, here will be revised: acanthosis nigricans, adquired ichthyosis, Bazex syndrome, paraneoplastic pemphigus, Leser-Trelat syndrome, Erythema gyratum repens, Sweet syndrome, dermatomyositis, migratory erythema syndrome, pyoderma gangrenosum, juvenile necrobiotic xanthogranuloma and the acquired hypertrichosis. The paraneoplasic dermatosis are rare dermatological entities,of difficult recognition, which may pass unnoticed to be as mild and little annoying problems which makes that the patient's own paid them little attention. Recognize the characteristics of the paraneoplasic dermatosis injuries facilitates the early detection of hidden cancer whose own demonstrations, would probably appear months or even years later, therefore, the finding of these dermatosis allows early suspect the tumor which are associated, thus increasing the survival of patients. In many cases can not explain the pathogenesis of the Association, but found that the treatment of the underlying neoplasm will lead to the cure of the dermatosis.
