ABSTRACT
We reported the case of a patient with 14 years old, who began with chronic pain, oppressive in right renal cavity with 3 years of evolution, without neurologic deficit. We found toracolumbar giant schwannoma it injured the vertebral body. Tumor in spine, is rare lesion in pediatric, about 1 to 10%, and inside of it are more rare schwannomas, that are intradural extramedular lesion. Schwannomas, frecuently are less than 8 cms. Giant schwannomas in spine are rare. The clinical features depends on the spine level affected, but the abdominal diffuse pain is the most frequent symptom.
