Acute cardiac insufficiency in adult patients in the Emergency Room

ABSTRACT

The presentation of patients with decompensated heart failure or new presentation of it, it´s one of the diseases to which is very frequent on Emergency Departments, and remains as a challenge for handling by the emergency physician. The aim of this study was to conduct a review of the concepts and approach in the management of heart failure in the Emergency room. We conducted a literature review of the terms, acute heart failure, emergency, in Pubmed, MEDLATINA and Tripdatabase search engines from 10 years to this moment.
