Factores de riesgo en sepsis neonatal en un hospital de tercer nivel en la ciudad de México

ABSTRACT
Introduction. Definition of the Neonatal Sepsis as clinical syndrome with infectión, to explain tanks at the best know of the disease physiopatology , the clinical point is Inflamatory Sistemic Response group of signs and syntoms with or with as blood culture. Respect to Early Sepsis occurs by vertical tansmission, when newborns contact with vaginal canal. Later Sepsis ocurr didnt exclusively, by horizontal transmission at the patient expositions to nosocomial bacterias..
Material y métodos. Its a Study to cases and control, en Cares Intensive Unity newborns of the Hospital 1ro de Octubre del ISSSTE. The Risk factor are membrane rupture, corioamnioytis, birth type, gestacional age, birth weigth, urinary ifeccions at the mother, central catheters, and muti-puncture. The General factors to-morbi-mortality are: song of mother to systemic disease as: Hypertension, diabetics, neonatal asfysia moderate or sever, low apgar, obstetric trauma, in newborn with clinical and laboratory sepsis. The analysis results with statistic SPSS 10.0 for Windows. The risk was calculated with momios razon CI 95%.
Results. Including 62 patients, 31 with sepsis, birth type 48 caesarean (76%) and 14 by vaginal tract (23.6%). Gestacional age preterm (-38 weeks of gestation): 44 newborn (71%) at term and 22(29%) pretem, The General factors Gestacional age, weigtn, apgar and mother age was statittic significance, but only low apgar 7 at the 5 minutes was P 0.0035 (IC 95%: 1.228-14.081
Argument. Low apgar 7 at the 5 minutes was risk factor for presentation of Neonatal sepsis in this group, after bibliographic revision we cant explicated, but can be to low apgar was condition for asphyxia, or needed to the intensive care, an this condition indirect for sepsis, it’s a motive to new investigations.
