ABSTRACT
Cervical lymphadenopathies are frequent in pediatric patients and are often the reason to attend the Maxillofacial Surgery Department. The most usual presenting condition is a transitory local or generalized infection. Sometimes it is the manifestation of a severe disease. Occasionally, it is difficult to determine the cause; thus, a more detailed and properly focused diagnostic method is required. The criteria for the management of the cervical lymphadenopathies in pediatric patients are discussed in this article.
