ABSTRACT
Epilepsy is the cause of one of the most frequent neurological in human people. It´s control usually requires a lot of drugs. A majority of the patients that suffer epilepsy are frecuent in women in fertile age, that in case of pregnancy migth exposse the product of conception to the effect of the drugs.
The following review is based on information from diferent articles about the use of anticonvulsants in pregnancy, their potential teratogenics risks and obstetrical complications.
