ABSTRACT
Introduction: Foster favorable conditions in the organization of early care in order to contribute to proper growth and development underscores the necessity to implement in the NICU nursing care by a challenge and an opportunity to standardize plans care.6 Objective: Evaluate the implementation of care focused on the development of RN ‹ 1,500 g as an indicator of quality in the NICU. Material and methods: Study preexperimental. Evaluation care application using the F1-CEN Certificate 1.5-2 indicator of nursing care for the newborn child. For analysis using descriptive statistics and Wilcoxon rank test. Results: In the preintervention measurement was found that nurses performed 33% centered care development in the RN ‹ 1,500 g, after sensitization and training of personnel was improved by 89% observed statistical significance p = 0.001. Conclusion: It´s verify that nursing interventions were executed RN ‹ 1,500 g as recommended by the literature; however, there are some conditions, especially administrative, which led to not be satisfied at 100% and opens up new care management opportunities in the NICU.REFERENCES
