ABSTRACT
Continuous medical education has taken an extraordinary turn during the last years, and traditional classroom-only teaching has become online education. There are a number of activities for physicians that imply online education. The most important fact is that the vast information regarding this last education is easy to access. Most of this information is related to texts, even though we may count on an incredible pool of images and videos, what enhances learning quality. There are several databases where physicians may search for useful medical information when being along with their patients. There are hundreds of online medical publications, besides their printed editions. The important fact here is that, currently, physicians may devote less time to review information that may modify their interventions in the management or handling of their patients. On the other hand, the explosion in mobile equipment, tablet PC, and other devices allows physicians to access the information kept in the cloud (digital locker). The present article analyzes the tools for electronic learning that pediatricians may count on in order to improve thequality ofattentionfor their patients.
