ABSTRACT
Aim: The Arterial Peripheral Disease is a frequent sub diagnosed pathology during the medical consult. It is usually diagnosed as different diseases that affect limbs, not taking into account the relation it has with cardiovascular disease in the short and medium terms presenting a high morbidity and mortality. The objective of this article is to determine the prevalence and risk factors of the peripheral arterial disease in the population over 50 years of age who consulted since january 1st to december 31 of 2008 in the Coyolar EBAIS.
