ABSTRACT
The acute scrotum is an urgent clinical situation characterized by sudden onset of severe pain and, occasionally, signs of inflammation in the scrotum or its contents. Its etiology is variable and the treatment is specific and therefore should make a valuable diagnostic and early treatment, the viability of the testis.
