ABSTRACT
Posteczema acanthomas, also called transient eruptive seborrheic keratoses, were first described by Williams in 1956. They are seborrheic keratoseslike lesions, usually involving areas affected by inflammatory dermatoses, and they tend to regress spontaneously in the following six months after the healing of the primary cutaneous condition. They are often misdiagnosed as the Leser-Trélat sign. We report two cases of eruptive posteczema acanthomas following an exacerbation of seborrheic dermatitis.
