ABSTRACT
Substance use cosmetic facial soft tissue infiltrated for aesthetic reasons has been increasing; these adverse reactions include pain, swelling, inflammatory reactions, granulomatous, lip deformity, among other undesirable effects. In 1964, Winer et al used the term «siliconoma» to report soft tissue granulomatous reactions in patients who had received liquid silicone injections. We report a case of posterior lip granuloma with infiltration of cosmetic filler. The patient had well localized labial swelling, painless, soft consistency. The histology showed the presence of oil infiltrated the interstitial space.
