ABSTRACT
In today’s restorative treatments, direct composite restorations play an increasingly significant role. Even in direct restorations, it is important to replace the form and function of the hard dental tissue that has been lost. Creating physiologically strong and morphologically correct contact points is as vital as designing the right occlusal surface.
The following article describes an alternate system of sectional matrices and fixing rings, and its applications in a clinical case of a class II direct restoration.
