ABSTRACT
Introduction: The shoulder pain is a common problem among patients that look for health care. The correct diagnosis and the therapy can be difficult due to the comprehensive list of dysfunctions that can cause this symptom; among these trapping of the secondary supraescapular nerve to ganglions should be considered, although it has been considered as a relatively not very frequent condition, it is easily ignored in the differential diagnosis.
Conclusion: With the advent of the new diagnostic techniques, Magnetic Resonance of the shoulder is more often carried out because it offers an image quality and a good resolution for diagnosis and treatment.
