ABSTRACT
Introduction: The Dyke-Davidoff-Masson Syndrome is a radiological finding characterized by the atrophy of a cerebral hemisphere.
Cases submittal: Three clinical cases are introduced, having refractory epilepsy background subject to medical treatment. The first two cases previously diagnosed by carotid angiography and pneumoencefalography, the first (1977), through carotid angiography, the second (1978), both since Computerized Tomography was inexistent, and the third case by means of skull x-rays and axial computerized tomography study, show the radiological characteristics of the syndrome.
Analysis: Again, it is important to emphasize the importance of this Syndrome knowledge that seems to be forgotten by clinic physicians.
