ABSTRACT
Currently the bone marrow transplant (BMT) represents an alternative in the treatment of hemathologic and malignant neoplasias, it’s accepted like a standard regimen of treatment for cancer and other diseases (aplastic anemia, immunodeficiencies, etc.
There are differents style of BMT: autologous, allogeneic (HLA donor) and stem cell transplant.
Recently studies show the results with this treatment are encouraging, this is one of the reasons for many cancer centers develope this kind of program.
