ABSTRACT
Mourning is the emotional and behavioral reaction expressed as sorrow and grief resulting from the loss of an affective bond. It is a normal adaptive response usually occurring on the occasion of the death of a loved one: A reaction to the loss of a loved person of to some abstraction which takes the place of it. There is no answer to the question: When does the mourning process end? For this reason it is essential to complete the different stages until emotional recovery is achieved. However, there are studies indicating that a period of 12 months of mourning becomes a pathological condition. If it continues and it is not overcome, action must be taken in order to resolve the problem.REFERENCES
