We include patients who had ISSSTE social medical benefices, a BI-RADS III mammography study and increase consistency of one breast or both of them in these women was made cytology of material obtained by aspiration.
Results: It was included 47, in 38 patients were negative for breast cancer (80.9%), 3 patients were positive for breast cancer (6.4%) 4 patients had suspicious of cancer (8.5%) and in two patients the same was insufficient (4.3%).
Conclusions: Only three patients were positive for breast cancer (6.5%), so we should not minimize this result since the diagnosis in earlier stages allows to provide less aggressive treatments and better results.
