ABSTRACT
This paper reports the case of three patients (all male with age of 34, 68 and 76 years) with duodenum adenomas with their respective endoscopic management. One patient with duodenal polyp, another with adenoma of the major duodenal papilla and the last one with an adenoma 2 cm far away from major papilla. A submucosal 1:10,000 epinephrine injection was performed to elevate the injuries from the submucosa and muscularis propria and to aid in determining resectability. Polypectomy, mucosectomy and papillectomy were performed, without complications; there was an endoscopic follow up six weeks later of the endoscopic treatment without recurrence until now. Although careful selection of patients is prerequisite for successful endoscopic treatment in duodenum adenomas, indications for them are not yet fully established, there is few literature in our environment that refers to this type of injuries.
