ABSTRACT
The hepatitis C virus infection is an epidemic disease. The morphologic aspects of hepatitis C infection (HCV) are described previously with interest in the lymphoid inflammation and consequences, like cirrhosis. Parameters evaluated are activity, fibrosis, cirrhosis and related neoplasm. But the presence the epithelioid granulomas are not well described. The aim of this review is to analyze the literature about the presence of granulomas in HCV infection without other co-infections or drugs abuse.
