ABSTRACT
The renal trauma is well studied and it is known that 90% of the cases is caused by accidents that involve self-driven vehicles; the remaining10 % is due to diverse causes and one of them is the aggression by other people.
The case that we present belongs to a 40 year-old masculine patient that was attacked and he received bruises in the abdomen and lumbar region with a solid object.
According to the initial clinical history renal trauma was diagnosed, but the evolution during its hospital stay and the changes of the laboratory exams (hematic biometry and clotting time) they demonstrated acute limphocytic leukemia .
It is important to fully value the traumatized patients because they can have, like in our case, previous pathologies not diagnosed.
