ABSTRACT
Valoration of abdominal trauma is a more frequent challenge to the surgeon. The increasing use of laparoscopic techniques has been modifying the approach of trauma patient. Laparoscopy has utility in the evaluation of abdominal trauma, when the patient has been adequately selected. We report the results of 35 patients, with blunt and penetrating abdominal trauma and hemodynamic stability, which were evaluated with laparoscopy.
