ABSTRACT
We report a case of condyloma of the bladder found in a 4-year-old girl, with previous diagnosis of Prune Belly syndrome. She was treated surgically elsewhere at 4-days-old. They performed an abdominal wall plasty, gastrostomy and Nissen fundoplication. Two weeks later she went through a vesicostomy. The vesicostomy and gastrostomy was closed at sixth month and seventh month of life, respectively. The patient was admitted at National Pediatric Institute two years later with bladder tumor diagnosis. The cystourethrography showed no vesicouretheral reflux, and filling defect at vesical fundus. The computed tomography showed a vesical mass located in left lateral wall. We performed a cystoscopy with a biopsy, and it showed a intravesical lateral left wall mass, one more at trigone and another one at fundus. The histopathologic result was a condiloma acuminatum. Later we did a transurethral tumor resection and ablation of the lesion. We carry out a bibliographic revision presenting the prognostic factors and current therapeutic tendencies for this pathology.
