ABSTRACT
The development of over-weight in the infantile population is a problem of Public Health and given its morbility it is necessary to take measures that take to the prevention of the same one; for such a reason, an analysis is developed to determine the factors in the appearance of overweight among the scholars. It thinks about as general objective to determine the nutritional state of the students of first, third and sixth grades of the attributed schools to the analyzed sectors, with the purpose of identifying the possible factors that predispose to overweight. The investigation is carried out in the EBAIS of PúbLicACiudad Quesada, San Pablo and Los Angeles on the base from the program of Integral Attention to the children in the School Scenary. In conclusion, the decisive factors in the development of the overweight in the school children are the sedentarism and the dysfunctions of the alimentary behavior. Both they are increased with the age.
