ABSTRACT
A 44-year-old woman underwent a hysterectomy for a large tumor of the uterine cervix that was shown to be a isthmico-cervical leiomyoma by histologic examination. These cases represent a technico-surgical difficult, due to tumor localization and size, as well as an ample knowledge about pelvic structures, in order to avoid urinary and vascular tract lesions.
