ABSTRACT
Suprarenal endothelial cysts are rare tumor lesions that only accumulate in 24% of cysts reported in the American and European literature. Not one case has been reported in Latin American publications. The most accepted theory as to its formation implies a developmental alteration or ectasia of blood or lymphatic vessels. A case of nonfunctioning calcified suprarenal cyst is presented.Clinical case: The patient is a 45-year-old male who complained of sharp pain in the right costovertebral angle. Physical examination was unremarkable.
Laboratory tests did not show suprarenal hyperactivity. Imaging studies revealed a right calcified suprarenal mass. The histopathological study reported a calcified endothelial suprarenal cyst.
