ABSTRACT
Normal skin surface is colonized by bacterium, fungi and parasitic flora, which have a great importance in protection and barrier function; the skin as a barrier is given for the interrelation between the stratum corneum and lipid layer, which confers permeability between outside and inside environment. We made a review about skin flora and the skin as a barrier.
