ABSTRACT
The case of a female 56-year-ol patient is reported; she had antecedents of purulent and fetid rhinorrhea and scabs, with histopathological diagnosis of rhinoscleroma. Patient was given treatment according to antibiogram during six months, with clinical and bacteriological cure at 11 months. She had again purulent rhinorrhea, intense headache, necrosis in the nasal dorsum and weight loss. A new biopsy reported large cells Hodgkin lymphoma. The association between lymphoproliferative diseases and rhinoscleroma had not been reported. Chronic stimulation of lymphoid tissue associated to mucosa and cell immunity disorder in the rhinoscleroma suggest to do serial biopsies to confirm bacteriological cure and to discard neoplasms.REFERENCES
